Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Temporary Closure for Annual Maintenance (2026)

Please be informed that the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum will be closed for annual maintenance from September 5 to November 03, 2026.
During this period, visitors will not be able to enter the Mausoleum to pay their respects to President Ho Chi Minh. However, the surrounding areas, including Ba Dinh Square and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex, may still be accessible to visitors, subject to the site's operating regulations.
The Mausoleum is expected to reopen to the public on November 04, 2026.
We recommend that travelers planning to visit Hanoi during this period adjust their itineraries accordingly. Other popular attractions, such as the Temple of Literature, the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, Hoan Kiem Lake, and the Old Quarter, remain excellent alternatives for exploring the city's rich history and culture.
